Apprentice Technical Specialist

A training and development opportunity has arisen to work for this global business who are looking to expand its workforce. The day-to-day tasks in this role are likely to be varied and challenging but for the right candidate offers an excellent opportunity to become a Specialist within our client's industry.

Job Description (once trained):

• Working closely with the Industrial Division management team which includes Sales, Marketing & Product Management and Research & Development.
• Supporting the commercial efforts of the field sales teams UK wide.
• Provision of product application support including management of product trials.
• Surveys, engineering equipment projects and condition monitoring.
• Project management of related topics.
• Continuously develop a diverse knowledge of manufacturing practices, engineering principles and management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educated to minimum 'A' Level standard which should include science and mathematics
• A keen interest in in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, manufacturing processes and practices
• Accurate and numerate
• Ability to complete tasks to strict timescales
• Ability to analyse and interpret data
• Good interpersonal skills
• An excellent communicator at all levels
• Excellent Microsoft skills
• Team player
• Excellent time keeping
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Problem solving skills
• Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic

Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Salary: GBP4.50 - GBP5.00 per hour
