FINTEC recruit is seeking a Calibration Technician for our engineering client based in Staffordshire. This is a permanent role with salary £20,000 to £25,000. Experience of working with prsure equipment would be an advantage. Working Monday to Friday 37 hour week.
Responsibilities:
- To manage an automated calibration process
- To supervise operational and administrative aspects of the calibration process
- Meet production targets and analyse and troubleshoot raw calibration data files
- Analyse calibration data from faulty instruments
- Prepare technical reports
- To support other departments as a technical point of contact, such as. R&D & Manufacturing
Skills and Experience for the Calibration Technician:
- Strong analytical capability and comfort with Excel, desirable to have knowledge of laboratory automation software.
- Knowledge of IT systems, MS Office package in particularly, ideally Excel VBA
- Exposure to pressure equipment would be advantageous
- Experience in maintaining the Databases and Filing system
