Key responsibilities include:

•Work in line with our group values; Trust, Efficiency, Quality & Expertise and Can-do

•Develop the business unit People Strategy  and lead it’s implementation. Through business partnering build trusted relationships with stakeholders to collaboratively deliver this

•Represent the business unit at Group level and be their ‘expert’ in utilisation and maintenance of the HR Systems

•Drive positive employee engagement initiatives by liaising with stakeholders

•Manage all site ER matters, manage and coordinate recruitment activity, and coordinate all HR cyclical activity

•Support, develop and coach departmental Managers with their approach and consideration of people issues

•Work alongside stakeholders to support and challenge the ways of working, acting as coach on all key decisions with people implications

•Work with management to identify skills gap, future risks, succession plans and talent development, as well as being an expert in The Training Framework to advise on appropriate training

•Manage end to end project work as directed by the HR Director


The ideal candidate:

•Good communication skills – able to influence and negotiate well

•Ability to build strong working relationships with customers

•Good planning and organisational skills

•Excellent employment law knowledge

•Minimum of 5 years in an HR operational role, working in a fast paced industry

•CIPD Level 7 Qualified
