We currently have an opportunity for a Water Quality Sampler to join our team.

Within this role you will be required to take water samples and conduct on-site tests from service reservoirs, treatment works, boreholes, river monitoring points and customer houses. Whilst collecting samples you will maintain accurate records of test results, time/ location details of samples. You may be required to assist with the investigation into customer water quality enquiries and complaints. Our samplers have to maintain detailed knowledge of all Company sampling procedures and relevant quality control procedures. You will be required to undergo training and pass a National Water Hygiene course and your performance will be regularly audited.

Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and ideally will have experience of dealing with customers face to face.  We are welcoming applications from candidates who are able to work alone and enjoy working outdoors as this is a demanding field based role where you will need to be physically fit.  It is also essential you have a full manual driving licence and must be a competent IT user and be familiar with the use of mobile devices (e.g. smartphones / tablets).  Basic knowledge of plumbing systems would be a useful additional skill.
