£22,000 - £30,000 depending on skills and qualifications

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated front line IT Service Agent to be responsible for providing IT Service and support to the Grimsby factory site as well as other office(s) and home workers across the UK. The installation, fault finding, maintenance and replacement of computers, phones, photocopiers and all related equipment will be your responsibility as well as any cabling associated with the above.

Working to Global IT standards you will provide support for the material tracking system for the Grimsby manufacturing unit. You will build and maintain relationships with service providers and Global IT colleagues.

For this role you will ideally possess previous technical support experience, hold an IT qualification (A level standard minimum, or equivalent). You will have a good working knowledge of MS Windows server configurations, have some knowledge of high level languages and networking and possess excellent problem solving skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, diagnose and resolve user issues and carry out basic maintenance on standard equipment e.g. replacing hard drives, printer rollers, run regular backups, etc. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in technology, keen to learn new skills and approach work with a high level of professional integrity.
