BPS World are a global recruitment partner with the founding vision that people can be more. We're experts in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) although that only begins to tell the story. We have 18 years pioneering in the attraction, recruitment and retention of talent.
Due to the growth of the business and expansion globally (US, EU, APAC) we are looking for a keen and committed individual to join our IT Support Team. The role will cover all aspects of user & technology support.
You will manage your day in line with the support tickets received resolving them in a timely manner with the assistance of our IT MSP.
Additionally, you will be a pro-active participant in how we structure and build our support services over the next 3 years to cater for some very ambitious growth plans.
The Responsibilities:
* Provide first level contact and deliver resolutions to user issues
* Escalate unresolved queries to the MSP
* Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
* Walk users through problem solving process
* Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
* Utilise excellent communication skills and exceed users expectations
* Ensure accurate recording, documentation and closure
* Be pro-active in recommending procedure modifications or improvements
* Take ownership of Projects and manage them to a successful outcome
* Continuously grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
* Work with the Business Intelligence team to help analyse and process data files (global server access)
* Manage and participate in Company projects
* Ensure inbound "Right of" requests are processed in line with BPS Worlds Responsible Data Management Policy and the Data Protection Regulation 2018.
* Always follow the Responsible Data Management Policy in all tasks where data processing is actionable whilst adhering to GDPR.
* Potential for mentoring and managing additional team members.
Experience and Qualifications
* High computer literacy skills
* Excellent communication and a positive "can do" attitude.
* UK driving licence desirable
* Flexible attitude to work and travel
* Educated to a degree standard (IT related) or equivalent experience within an IT Support function
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with attention to detail whilst providing an efficient end user experience. You will also be able to "think out side of the box" and have a drive for excellence and service.
As a belief that "People can be more" we are highly supportive of formal training to ensure you are equipped with the tools required to be successful.
If this sounds like you, then click 'apply' now or contact Robyn McNulty at BPS World for more information
