Hays HR is excited to be working with our client in their search for a Learning and Development Officer. This job is with a reputable organisation, based in County Down. You will be joining an organisation that see the L&D function playing a key role in taking their organisation to the next level.

Your new role
As the Learning and Development Officer, it will be your job to facilitate the full training function for the organisation. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of training operations throughout the business with the aim of optimising resource utilisation, production efficiency and productivity. As the Learning and Development Officer you will identify training and development needs of staff throughout the organisation, using a variety of methods including training needs analysis, recruitment and induction processes, probation reviews and annual performance evaluations. You will get significant exposure to Training Projects, as well as working with the wider HR team to drive a culture of high performance.

What you'll need to succeed
2 years' experience in a Training / Learning and Development Officer role
3rd level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Experience of designing and delivering various training modules and programmes
Strong communication skills
