I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Conservation Officer to join them for an initial 3 year contract, with the likely potential of extension. My client are willing to negotiate on pay rates for the right candidate and can offer flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
*
providing conservation advice on major applications involving listed buildings, historic sites and conservation areas
*
advising on structural and design issues in relation to listed buildings
* providing professional advice to planning officers
You will ideally be IHBC accredited and must hold a degree relative to Conservation. Up to date Local Authority experience, in Conservation in relation to Development Management, would be highly beneficial.
It would be valuable if you were a member of the IHBC (Institute of Historic Building Conservation) and up to date Local Authority experience, in Conservation in relation to Development Management, would be highly beneficial.
My client are willing to negotiate on rates for the right candidate.
