Shift Manager Continuous Improvement

Are you a Production or Shift Manager looking for an opportunity to shape your own department within an industry leading company offering further training and senior progression opportunities?

You will also have the responsibility of running your own team of engineers and developing their careers through training plans whilst driving continuous improvement in shift performance.

This company are advanced technology producers and boast over GBP1 billion in sales for 2017 across a variety of industry sectors, including aerospace and defence.

This role would suit a Production or Shift Manager ideally from an automotive background but with knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.

The Role:
*Ensure product is manufactured to the required quality standards and production quantities
*Manage your own team of up to 25 engineers
*Implement continuous improvement techniques to improve shift performance
*Days-based shift role - 3 on/2 off, 2 on/3 off

The Person:
*You will be a Production or Shift Manager with continuous improvement experience or knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
*You will ideally come from an automotive background although this is not essential
