We have a great opportunity for an Admin Officer working at HMP Chelmsford. You will be working 37 hours per week between Monday - Friday.
This is a temporary position which is expecting to run until for at least 3 months but this could also be extended.
You will need to have a good knowledge of Excel, Word and outlook along with the ability to work under pressure and have a flexible and adaptable approachable work. Minute taking experience is preferred or you must be able to take notes in meetings. The position will involve data inputting onto existing spreadsheets and creating new documents in Excel. Previous knowledge of procurement/finance is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will work well in a team, able to work on your own initiative, work with confidence and have some previous experience working in an office environment. As you will be working within a government booking you will be required to go through a compliance process. This will involve undergoing a criminal check and visiting the Chelmsford Office to complete the vetting paperwork.
You will be working 37 hours per week Monday - Friday with a pay rate of GBP7.98 per hour. This will increase after 12 weeks to GBP9.39p/h which is paid weekly.
