Large RC Secondary School and Sixth Form in Salford have an immediate requirement for a full time Science teacher. Due to an absence within the faculty, this Science position is due to commence with immediate effect and will continue into the new academic year. The school are able to put temporary provisions in place to wait until January 2019 for the successful Science teacher.
This position is available for both recently qualified and experienced Science teachers, and applications must be submitted at the earliest convenience.

- KS3 and GCSE Science timetable, planning and marking required
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS GBP23,720 - GBP39,402 per annum)

"We are seeking to appoint a Science teacher to work within our newly refurbished Science faculty with immediate effect. This position is initially temporary, and the successful Science teacher will be required to partake in full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking. At present, there are slightly over 1,000 pupils on roll across the school and sixth form centre. There has been praise given to the developments created through the new building and the results that this has supported. The school has seen a significant increase in attainment across the core subjects, particularly in Science over the past five years. This is due to the department having six established teachers that deliver outstanding practice.
Situated in Swinton, the school can be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road). Neighbouring areas Bolton, Astley and central Manchester also provide a direct link to the school. For non drivers there are a number of public transportation links, and a metrolink stop nearby.
