We are seeking to recruit an experienced,enthusiastic and committed IT Technician to work as part of an ICT support team within a school. This school is housed in a new, state of the art building, providing excellent ICT facilities throughout.
The post is for 37.5 hours per week. The hours of working will be 8.00am-4.00pm, 5 days a week and is full time.
You will provide a quality service to staff and students within our busy school. The successful candidate will ensure the school's network and ICT equipment is reliable and effective and supports the work of staff and students.
You will have at least 1 year's ICT experience within a school environment, including routine maintenance of ICT equipment and software, and maintaining and supporting multi-server networks. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a high level of personal effectiveness including good organisational skills.
This post would offer the opportunity to develop new skills and put existing talents to use. Previous experience of IT systems is essential and you will need to be able to work under pressure with both staff and students
