Exciting opportunity to join a leading Online eCommerce Retailer company based in Irlam, Manchester who are looking to strengthen their UX capability by building a dedicated UX Research resource. I am working with the Head of Technology and he is in the market for a UX Researcher / Designer.
UX Researcher / Designer
It's an interesting opportunity as you'd have the opportunity to define the research strategy and best practice when it comes to UX and Design. You will be involved from the initial discovery stages of new digital development and will ensure research is embedded into the design process. You'll be able to put in place your own UX Research framework and choose the best research methods to fit the needs of the business / user.
This is still a hands-on role, so you'll be expected to plan and run the research either directly or through the organisations customer insight. You'll also have access to large volumes of quantitative data to support your research. You'll be joining an established UX Design team and will work closely with the Head of Technology, longer term there will be the opportunity to grow the research function and progress into a team lead / manager role. The work environment is as you'd expect in a modern digital business and they offer flexible working hours.
UX Researcher / Designer Skill Required
* UX / UI Design and Strategies
* Excellent knowledge of Planning, designing, preparing and running relevant research activities to support the design, development and continuous improvement of user experiences
* Knowledge of Delivering behavioural insights workshops and presentations to multiple teams
* Experience of using data to understand the biggest opportunity areas across eCommerce experiences to focus your research efforts
* Have a great understanding of using a range of behavioural insight tools to develop online polls, harness session recordings, heatmaps and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research
* Experience of working across multiple teams including Development and Design
