JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Project Manager

ROLE PROFILE:  

• Attend pre start meetings with the client before the contract is drawn up.
• Check, measure and spot check plots ahead of project commencement.
• Confirm installation schedule with site team and communicate call off requirements.
• Reporting to a visiting Operations Manager they will be required to ensure smooth construction/ fitting process including managing of all site labour and suppliers 
• Management of construction / fitting  programme
• The Project Manager will also liaise with the client & associated consultants & be able to chair regular progress meetings. Visit all live sites allocated as often as is reasonably practical, making contact with the Site Manager and the fitters during each visit.

PERSON PROFILE:

• Good relationship skills - good at rapport building, able to demonstrate understanding of customer needs, able to establish, build & manage relationships with key decision makers, able to influence along vertical and horizontal planes.
• Good interpersonal skills and flexibility - Able to quickly adapt to the change with clients.
• Influencing & Negotiation Skills – Able to negotiate and influence with both customers and the delivery teams at all levels resulting in a convincing and positive outcome
• Strong ability to multitask in a dynamic environment as well as the ability to set & manage client expectations and effectively manage internal/external resource constraints.
• Stake holder management

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Understanding of RFI and management of variations will be required
• Experience of managing projects
• Strong project management experience.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management capability
• Full Driving Licence
