Based in central Liverpool, the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine (SOMM) is a busy charity delivering educational courses.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, well organised, Office Administrator to support the Society Manager in delivering on all of the activities of the organisation.

As the first point of contact for the organisation the successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining good attention to detail. This is an extremely varied role including general office administration, educational courses administration, servicing committees and some financial administration.

The successful applicant must have at least 5 years experience of complex administration in a busy office, together with proficient Microsoft Office skills and excellent numeracy and communication skills; experience servicing committees and familiarity with social media platforms is preferred. Enthusiasm, flexibility, dedication and a willingness to contribute to the wider team will also be expected.

The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week.

We are offering a salary of £21,000 p.a., along with a workplace pension scheme and 25 days annual leave, plus statutory holidays.
