Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

They are looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team where you will work 10:00am – 14:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Within the team you will help prepare, cook and serve food and beverages at the catering services outlets on the Queens Garden site including setting up and clearing away the counter as required. You will have responsibility for cleaning the dining and preparation areas, handling cash and operating the electronic till system.

The role will have an involvement in stock control, including checking orders, storing and rotating stock, whilst always maintaining a high level of customer care.

Our client is looking for someone who has recent experience of working in a catering environment. With a Level 2 in Food Safety, you will have experience in till work/ cash handling and must be a team player with a professional appearance and manner.  Good communication skills and a calm and patient manner are essential and above all, you must be committed to providing a high quality service.
