Our client is currently looking to recruit for a Head of Facilities Management Services, on a temp to perm basis, located in the Hertford area.
The purpose of the post is to ensure that the soft FM service integrator arm of the business, makes a sustained and increasing contribution to the overall revenue and profitability of the business. WE are looking for someone with specific business development activities, who is able to brin g new custoemrs on board. This could be work for start up businesses, large scale FM groups (Mitie, carillion) or someone with proven experience with busienss growth.
The post holder will need to develop, implement, maintain, monitor and review an income growth strategy through the development of a strategic short and medium term plan to enhance the business opportunities to deliver agreed outcomes.
Take overall responsibility for the soft FM arm of the business (revenue, p & l, client relationship management, strategic direction).
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Lead the development, implementation and management of the strategic direction. Ensure that this provides a high quality, VFM, service driven operation.
* Ensure that a rigorous, robust, transparent and auditable Quality Assurance system is in place and associated KPI's are continually reviewed, improved and adhered to across all areas of the service.
* Project manage varied long and short term projects. Through the utilisation of expertise and sound business knowledge ensure that strategic initiated projects deliver real business opportunities that enhance existing trading platforms and develop new areas of potential opportunity.
* Ensure that the tender and contract processes are managed and continually reviewed to meet the changing needs of the client base that use the services. Drive innovation within the contracting process to ensure that the provision of service continues to develop.
* Maintain a full understanding of the market for FM services with emphasis on innovation and service delivery and improvement. Through this understanding develop new and existing operational areas, adding value so that the business is recognised as a market leader and go to provider within soft FM service provision.
* Lead and develop a team that continually challenges itself to provide an all round service to its client base whilst actively being hungry to attract new business.
* Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the evolving and growing number of Multi Academy Trusts (MAT) in order to maintain and grow current business within the education sector. Through understanding of their aspirations, model the delivery of current and future services to meet and exceed those aspirations.
Within the position you will have the ability to make key changes and implement initiavies to support vbusiness growth. They have a strong team for you to lead and will be open to new ideas.
