Sports Development Assistant
£18,777 - £20,989 per annum, pro rata
Part-time, 28 hours per week, 32 weeks per year
Fixed term until 31st July 2019
Do you have an unequivocal commitment to excellence and want to inspire others? If so, we are looking for you to join our sports team! We are seeking a talented individual with an interest in the Sport industry to positively influence the student experience through sport.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will be required to undertake the day-to-day supervison of the Recreational Center facilities and University sports teams under the direction of the Sports Development Officer, to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Duties include supporting enrollments to sports teams and all sports related activities, organising sport fixtures and classes, and conducting gym induction for all new members. You will also work in close partnership with the Student Union, promoting the University College Gym and recreational services.
To succeed, you will have ideally held a similar position in a previous role, be in possession of a recognised fitness instructor’s certificate, have excellent organisational skills and be an outstanding team player.
