Job Title: Painter and Decorator
Location: Woodstock
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, professional painter and decorator to join our Maintenance Team. All applicants must be able to demonstrate and willingness to work effectively as part of a dedicated team providing onsite building maintenance and repairs.
About The Job:
You will form part of a dedicated team who work across the site providing a high quality and responsive service across several school and residential buildings, ensuring they are well maintained, presentable, pleasant and offer a pleasing environment to residents, pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake planned and ad hoc painting and decorating projects
Assist in the overall maintenance of buildings by providing painting and decorating services as required.
Work as part of a team, but provide a dedicated painting and decorating service to compliment other planned maintenance projects.
Follow all safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of students, accompanying any external site maintenance operatives as required.
Knowledge and observance of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures
Essential Experience Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have gained a professional qualification in painting and decorating and have previous experience working as a trade professional, effectively delivering to timescales and requirements. You should be a good team player, with excellent communication skills, able to work alone or as part of the wider maintenance team operating to a high standard at all times.
The role will be physically demanding and require manual handling and physical labour on a daily basis, working at height on some occasions.
Remuneration Package
The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package that will consist of a basic salary of GBP23,235 as well as comprehensive training and other company benefits such as; Pension, Life Assurance, Child Care Voucher and Discount Schemes.
