Job Title: Production Team Leader
Based: Outskirts of Harpenden, Herts
NB. You'll need to drive as there is no public transport to the office
Salary: GBP26,000 to GBP32,000

We are the recruitment partners for a luxury skincare brand based just outside of Harpenden and they're looking for someone special to lead and improve their current production kitchen where they produce small batches of natural skincare products.
You will use your background in a commercial kitchen, cosmetics, production or manufacturing to get the current processes out of the head of the owner and the CEO. You'll develop written documentation which will support their plans to scale their production significantly over the next 2 years.
Day to day you'll be leading the 2 part-time production assistants to ensure all ingredients are available, ensure the equipment is clean and maintained to a very high standard and that the team know exactly what is expected of them to meet the orders.
In time, we'd like you to expand this team to meet demand, and we expect you to be excited about joining and being a core part of this growing company.
You will have the following personality traits, experience and skills needed to succeed in this role:

Sense of humour.

A can do attitude.
*
The ability and willingness to attack any and all challenges including some heavy lifting (up to 25kg safely).
*
Ideally a background in a commercial kitchen or cosmetics production.
*
Self motivated and fantastic time management skills for you and the team.
*
You take pride in everything you do and are not happy unless you maintain consistently high standards.
*
You love deadlines and thrive under pressure.
*
You also love processes and systems (if you have ISO knowledge, fantastic but not essential).
