Service Care Legal are working closely with a leading West Midlands-based solicitors who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Property division. Due to growth and expansion, a new position has become available for someone to join a well-established firm.
The Role
• To be a member of, and provide the Business Support Team with, typing, secretarial and administrative support
• To assist and support the 4 fee earners, alongside 1 other Legal Secretary, within the Residential Conveyancing department
• To transcribe and prepare all correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing
• Covering any tasks as required from typing, photocopying, taking phone messages, directing phone calls, making appointments and maintain up to date diary entries
The Person
• Must have at least 2 years Legal Secretarial experience in a law firm
• Previous residential property experience is preferred but not essential
• ILEX Legal Secretary qualification or equivalent qualification is preferable
• Good Microsoft Office, Outlook and good telephone manner is required
• Someone who is able to work well within a team and also work independently when required
