Support Worker for Learning Disability Birmingham

Do you enjoy work that helps others and is rewarding? We are looking for a support worker with experience in working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour to join our friendly team, supporting service users with autism and learning disabilities.

We are looking for motivated, reliable people to join our dedicated team to support people with learning & physical disabilities to live personalised, rewarding lives. As a support worker you will need to develop warm and trusting relationships with people with learning disabilities to help them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. No two days are the same. You will need to be proactive at all times and work independently using your own initiative as well as becoming a fabulous team member.

Duties will include:
Supporting residents in gaining independence
Organising and taking part in activities
Providing emotional support

We need someone who has:
A minimum of one years experience in working with learning disabilities and Challenging behaviour
Control and restraint training
Driver preferred but not essential
