In House Recruiter (2 days per week)

With plans of company expansion underway, out client is keen to employ an in-house recruiter with a minimum 3 years' experience for a pro-rated position of 2 days per week.

The successful applicant will be highly experienced in sourcing, interviewing and hiring full-time candidates for a range of sales, events, operations and management positions whilst initiating and supporting all stages of the recruitment life cycle.

Working closely with senior management, as an in-house recruiter you will be responsible for attracting and headhunting a range of new talent for the company whilst being an integral part of the interview / selection process. In addition to the minimum set requirements, you must also be highly experienced in creating attractive job specifications and advertisements whilst negotiating costs and packages with job boards and advertising outlets.

This role will be perfect for many people including (but not limited to) an experienced recruiter who may have a young family and is seeking to return to work in a part-time capacity, or an ambitious person who is currently studying a degree and looking for a flexible position.

Main Duties of the role will include:

* Taking a 360-degree recruiting approach to the market

* Managing the entire recruitment process from brief to completion

* Supporting internal and external projects with regards to employee engagement

* Attracting candidates of all levels by creating and posting well written job spec's for multiple newspapers, job boards and social media platforms

* Proactively headhunting new candidates

* Accepting and reviewing candidate profiles whilst arranging and confirming all interviews

* Conducting high levels of telephone and face to face interviews

* Creating candidate reports, presentations and recommendations for senior management

* Analyse current internal recruitment practices for potential improvements

Profile:

* A minimum 3 years proven recruitment experience with work related references

* A successful background attracting & placing full time candidates of all levels within the events, sales, management and operational areas of the commercial sector

* An experienced interviewer who knows how to ask the right questions

* Ability to interview a high volume of candidates on a daily and monthly basis

* The ability to write creative, focused, clear and concise job specifications and advertisements

* The ability to work without instruction and without being micro-managed

* The ability to negotiate advertising space with newspapers, job boards and websites

* An excellent command of English both written and verbal

* A diligent work ethic but must enjoy working as part of team

* Be adaptable to new and exciting challenges

* Preferably university educated (but not a prerequisite)

Salary:

From GBP22,000 - GBP25,000 pro-rata (Salary will be awarded to reflect skills and previous experience).
