Can-am Chains are a long-established manufacturer and distributor of Conveyor and associated products based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne. 

With continued demand for our products throughout Europe our company now has an Internal Sales Office position available. This is a key position within our company and therefore comes with a level of responsibility and would ideally suit someone from a similar industrial background.

The position involves handling the day to day incoming Sales calls with a view to submitting quotes verbally and by email, with the end goal of turning enquiries into orders. You must be computer literate and customer focused, comfortable in preparing and delivering quotes as well as assisting others with their duties.

As we are a family owned company you will need to be a team player, have a flexible approach and be prepared at times to undertake other duties to maintain the efficient running and growth of the business.

The company offers a salary of £18,000-£20,000 and other benefits along with a secure future after a successful trial period. For the right candidate this is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress within a well respected company.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an Internal Sales Person you will be responsible for

• Dealing with incoming sales enquiries by phone and email
• Building relationships with customers
• Qualifying enquiries
• Providing quotes and follow up
• Dealing with sales administration
