My client is currently hiring for a Sales Executive to join their growing team based in Manchester. They are an ambitious brand with plans to grow further over the next few years and as such they are looking for motivated, dedicated staff who are very sales and customer focused. You will have a mature approach to the role and will be comfortable working alone and as part of a wider team.

Role responsibilities:

  • Finding and winning new customers will be a key element to this role. All activity is incoming, and you must qualify all enquiries and manage through to sale
  • Telephone sales - taking inbound enquires from customers, conducting a full needs analysis and selling back to their needs. Must have a consultative sales approach
  • Calling previous customers who showed an interest either over the phone or via the website, with the intent to close the sale over the phone
  • Lead and manage all new and existing customer enquiries and ongoing expectation
  • Working to sales targets
  • Some store face to face selling to both business and residential customers will be required so you must be comfortable engaging in person
  • Develop and maintain an effective enquiry management process that results in a sale
  • Research the client base and find new types of customers to sell to
  • Demonstrate all products and services effectively
  • Make the product appeal to all target markets
  • Utilising and updating the CRM system
  • Must set a positive example across the business
  • Contribute towards ensuring store standards are maintained and exceeded
  • Ensuring individual areas of responsibility are fully undertaken
  • Coordinate activities with other team members

Essential requirements:

  • Previous telephone-based sales experience is essential
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to sell and close deals
  • Charismatic personality with the ability to engage face to face with customers
  • Strong team player with a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Computer literate
  • Must have a full UK driving licence with own vehicle
  • Able to work a shift pattern covering Monday to Sunday

For the right candidate my client is offering a fantastic package:

  • Competitive base salary up to GBP22,000 depending on experience
  • Realistic, achievable commission structure with an OTE of GBP28k
  • 40 hour working week to be worked over Mon - Sun on a rota basis. Hours are: Mon - Fri 8:30am to 6pm, Sat 10am to 4pm, Sun 10am to 2pm
