Newydd Maintenance Ltd is built on an in-house contractor model, designed to drive quality customer services, whilst achieving substantial planned growth and expansion, potentially outside of the group. Newydd Maintenance Ltd is a subsidiary company which provides maintenance services to Newydd Housing Association.
About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead and manage operations to ensure key performance measures are met and our contracts and SLA’s are legally compliant whilst also providing best practice.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management of the operational activities ensuring a high quality, customer focussed, efficient and effective service is delivered.
About you
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with extensive and relevant experience who can demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate a high performing team.
You should have experience of delivering excellent maintenance service and with a working knowledge of relevant industry legislation including Gas Safe, Electricals, Asbestos, Risk Assessments, etc. You will need to have well-developed communication and presentation skills and be very IT literate and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
This post is based in our head office in Cardiff with regular travel to our properties and other office sites across south and mid Wales.
