Telesales/Business Development Executive

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telesales Executive to join our global construction client based in Basingstoke.
The Telesales Executive will be responsible for generating a wealth of leads and pipeline for potential business opportunities, and working closely alongside key stakeholders to provide detailed sales forcasts and projections, as well as constantly looking to evolve and develop and open up new windows.
Key Responsibilities Are:
-Drive sales revenue and work in line with sales targets and deadlines.
-Actively maintain, promote and develop opportunities to new and existing clients
-Maintain close contact with clients whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
-Perform to high levels including calls to outbound prospecting and contacts.
-Generate new business through effective and planned prospecting.
-Manage, renew and develop existing client revenue where applicable.
-Ensure that the client/prospect database is constantly updated and accurate.
-Gather detailed client information to support various different departments within the business.
-Monitor competitor media and events
You must have a good work ethic, a can do approach and a proven track record of going above and beyond set targets. The ability to quickly build rapport with potential and existing clients is vital as is building and maintaining strong internal relationships within the team.
The successful candidate will see themselves as a focal point in their sector and act as an ambassador for the brands by promoting the services nationally, while always holding themselves to the highest standards personally and professionally.
