The role of the Guildford based Lead SEND Job Coach is to manage the supported internship programme and the job coaches working on this programme. You will also act as an ambassador for young people with SEND in the economic community and promote their abilities and potential positive contribution to the working population.
The Lead SEND Job Coach would need:
* Significant experience of working with young people with SEND in a teaching or training environment.
* Experience of managing a team of staff
* Developing and presenting reports
* Experience of building positive networks and relationships with others
* Experience of delivering project outcomes
* Experience of communicating effectively at all levels
* Experience of running a success educational programme
* English and Maths at least at Level 2
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Business, Customer Service or Learning Support) at Level 3
As the Lead SEND Job Coach you will provide support and information for young people in individually tailored formats, on learning, community engagement and work that matches their requirements, attributes and career or future plans and on services that might help them overcome barriers to learning.
This is a wonderful role for an individual who can competently and articulately act as an ambassador for young people with SEND in the economic community and promote their abilities and potential positive contribution to the working population.
