Programme Test Manager
Why is this role the next step for you?
In this role, you'll lead and manage the testing across multiple work streams that form part of our Fraud & Authentication value stream to ensure efficient, effective and economic testing of products and services. You'll facilitate and unblock any issues within testing for the various project teams, and work closely with the Programme Lead of the value stream to report on deliverables, project status and risks. You'll also organise and manage the testing schedules, resources and test environments.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You'll have overall ownership and be the key point of contact for anything test related on our Fraud & Authentication value stream projects and services. You'll lead the testing of large scale projects and take overall test accountability for these projects. You'll drive and lead high standards of testing across the value stream, co-ordinate and plan integration and performance testing across different infrastructure, and produce test approach and test strategy including production of test timelines. You'll report on testing deliverables and test status including remedial action, as well as raise testing risks to stakeholders. You'll plan test resources and environments for the various projects and ensure all required test documentation is completed and signed off for various project checkpoints. You'll develop strong and effective working relationships with Product, Project Management, Product Owners and Business Analysts, and engage with and plan testing activities with the centralised non-functional testing teams.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
We're looking for extensive experience in software testing and a track record of project delivery on time and to specification. We work in a SAFe environment, so previous experience with SAFe as a framework is ideal. You will have experience working in Agile environments and an in depth understanding and use of Agile testing methods - like BDD and Exploratory testing. You'll have experience of managing multiple testing projects across various different engineering teams and experience working closely with Product stakeholders. You'll have experience defining test strategies and have in depth knowledge of software testing procedures and frameworks. The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology is key to the success in this role.
