The Director of Change will lead over 100 change professionals to deliver Strategic Change Plan to time, quality and budget. They need to be an inspirational leader of people with the innovation and creativity to drive the department to deliver quality results for our customers, business and people. This role requires both the technical delivery experience and people leadership qualities to succeed, working with a range of senior leaders across the business to ensure we have the right level of engagement, ownership and resources to support delivery.

Job Purpose

- To lead, inspire and engage a large team of Change Professionals across Scotland and Osterley

- To lead the delivery of transformational change projects across Customer Service Group, Sales and Marketing group and PDD

- To shape and deliver the vision and strategy for Change, driving a change roadmap that is prioritised in conjunction with key business leaders

- Provide strategic input and vision to the Managing Director of Service

- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with the Exec and Directors across CSG and wider Sky.

You will:

- Lead and inspire your direct reports and wider team to be accountable and autonomous within their scope of responsibility.

- Engage and motivate the wider team to deliver their best

- Inspire your team and department to share and deliver the change roadmap

- To lead the Change team to create and deliver the change roadmap spanning CSG, SMG, PDD, Strategy and wider Sky.

- Create and deliver the strategy and vision for change; sharing, communicating and gaining buy-in for that vision with your teams, stakeholders and colleagues.

- Lead a first class PMO function that ensures all change activity is scheduled, prioritised and resourced effectively

- Lead and Inspire ways of working and methodology that meet the needs of your people and stakeholders

- Lead your teams to ensure each portfolio delivers to individual business case and remains aligned to overall strategic vision and direction and key metrics such as Programme or Project cost / forecasting, Change resource CAPEX utilisation and People Survey results.

- Manage a pipeline of future projects that are defined and requested by different stakeholder groups.

- Build relationships with your stakeholders that allow you to influence, challenge and fully understand the vision for their area of the business and how the Change team contributes to the delivery of that vision.

You'll have:

- Experience in shaping, defining and delivering on a vision and strategy across a large organisation and varied stakeholder group

- Expert influencer and collaborator - able to build effective relationships across levels including executive level to enable delivery

- Deep understanding of landing change in customer centric and complex environments - underpinned by proven application of sound commercial acumen.

- Created a high performing team in previous roles; leading and inspiring people to deliver outstanding performance and a best in class operational change & improvement function

- Track record of delivery
