Salary Details: Circa GBP19,000 - GBP24,000 per annum dependant on experience

We????????re looking for a Money Advisor to join our team in Gloucestershire, someone to provide debt and money advice to customers who may have a tenancy or a mortgage.

What????????s the role?
* Provide debt and money advice to a range of customers who may have a tenancy or a mortgage* Proactively identify trends and local issues and support your team of Neighbourhood Coaches and customers to navigate these* Help customers to financially prepare for and maintain a tenancy with Bromford ?????" this advice will range from budgeting to providing guidance on debt and money management.What will I have to do?
* I????????ll be friendly, approachable and knowledgeable ?????" able to build trust with the customer and work with them and other agencies to resolve any issues* I????????ll have great conversations to find out root cause of financial issues and have the ability to coach customers to alter their spending behaviour* I????????ll carry out preventative work to reduce debt* I????????ll work with customers to assess their potential income to ensure they are financially better off when moving into work* I????????ll provide advice on benefits that a customer may be entitled to and have a good all round knowledge of these, including in-work, out-of-work and disability-related benefits* I????????ll use my investigative and problem solving skills to provide innovative solutions* I????????ll be a team player with a great positive attitude and live our DNA.What do I need to be successful?
* I????????ll have a thorough knowledge of welfare and other benefits and an understanding of the implications of Welfare Reform* I????????ll have a knowledge of organisations that provide other support, including grants* I????????ll have an empathetic approach ?????" but with the ability to give ?????tough love???????? where necessary* I????????ll build effective relationships based on trust and respect and be a great ambassador for Bromford* Previous experience of managing, negotiating and reducing debt is very desirable, but not essential.How will you measure my success?
* We????????ll get great feedback about what you do from customers, colleagues and partners* We????????ll have evidence that your records are compliant, accurate and up to date* You????????ll manage a large case-load and achieved positive outcomes for clients, including renegotiating debt repayment terms* You????????ll reduce levels of debt* You????????ll increased payments of rental income by customers referred to you* You????????ll enable clients to maximise their income* You????????ll actively assist customers back into work by giving great money advice* You????????ll successfully work with partners and other agencies where appropriate to achieve successful outcomes.
