Quality Operative

Due to sustained and successful growth, this manufacturer of cement-based products is currently recruiting for Quality Operatives based at their plant in Leyland. The Quality Operative role involves testing raw materials and finished goods in accordance with relevant quality standards and procedures.

Quality Operatives will cover a range of responsibilities including:
- Testing of production material in accordance with internal procedures
- Testing of raw materials before they are used in production
- Assisting in the control of production formulations
- Maintaining the cleanliness of working areas
- Ability to be punctual and reliable
- Be a team player and ensure appropriate communication

It is not essential for candidates to have experience in a quality role as full training will be provided upon appointment of the position. The candidate must be able to follow procedures and work to company SOP's.

40 hours per week, this is a permanent position working Monday - Friday, the designated hours of work are 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm to be decided upon appointment.

Ideally the right candidates will live within a 20 minute commuting distance of Leyland.

The salary is competitive and subject to experience, it will be reviewed at performance appraisal reviews carried out annually.
