We are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. We have plans to build at least 2,000 new homes over the next five years, as well as investing over £100m in improving the homes we manage. By doing this, we will make a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley to support the local economy.
 
The Compliance Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and managing an appropriate strategy for robust property compliance for Thirteen’s property portfolio, domestic and commercial, with all statutory regulations, approved codes of practice (ACOP), official guidance standards and best practice.
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring robust property compliance information is in place in order to understand condition and plan from appropriately. They will also be responsible for managing our compliance risk database C365 and producing appropriate performance related information for both our Leadership Team and Board.

Working alongside the Compliance Contracts Manager in bringing plans to life and providing associated performance related information as well as working with the Building Safety Manager to ensure high risk and complex buildings are prioritised in terms of delivery programmes and ongoing contract and contractor support
 
To succeed you will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and/or professionally qualified in construction management or a related discipline and/or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience in a strategy or compliance setting.
The ability to interact with senior management and client is key and previous experience working within a service contracting environment is desirable.
