A continuously expanding travel business based in Fareham is currently recruiting for a commercially focussed Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This fantastic opportunity is suited to someone who is ACCA Part Qualified with a strong background in financial accounting.
Reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties will include:
• Prepare and assist with Month End
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reports
• Reconciliation and processing of all group accounts and cash books
• Support annual audit of group entities and drafting of statutory accounts
• Provide direct support to the Finance Team to improve business controls
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
• Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• Strong Excel
• Diligent, high level of accuracy
• Previous experience within Assistant Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant role
