Prototype Wirer
Our manufacturing Client based near Dartford is seeking an experienced Prototype Wirer.
The role is paying GBP9.33 per hour + OT, working 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with half an hour's break for lunch and 8am to 1pm on Friday (39 hours per week).
The working environment is the manufacture of electronic assemblies to a multi- skilled level, primarily through prototype wiring.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.
To be competent in prototype wiring with a minimum of formal documents.
To be competent in wiring techniques for PCB manufacturing.
To be fully competent in all areas of hand soldering techniques.
To be able to read and understand engineering circuits / wiring diagrams.
To be competent in operating the PCB cropping machine prior to flow soldering.
To be able to operate the flow solder machine at a basic level.
To understand manufacturing documents and technical drawings and follow specific instructions.
To be competent with PCB repair work and rework techniques
To be competent in building PCB's up to flow solder stage, either by use of mascot tables or by hand.
To understand IPC (best practice) standards with regard to own area.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
General standard of education required.
Experience within electronic manufacturing environment - minimum 5 years' experience.
