Are you an ISO9001 Senior Quality Inspector within the electronics industry?

If so, my West Leicestershire based client have an opportunity for you to join them as a Senior Electronics Inspector.

Commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Nuneaton

The Role:

- Quality checking a variety of electronics components

- Organising the team to ensure deadlines are met

- Working to ISO9001 standards

- Carrying out diagnostics and repairing non-conforming components

- Working from detailed schematics

- Using IT software to compile reports and charts

- Day Shifts, Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30, Friday 07.30 to 11.00

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

- Knowledge of and requirements of ISO9001 standard (and ISO14001 if possible)

- Able to recognise good wiring practices, i.e. soldering, crimping, forming, etc. to IPC-WHMA- A-620 (knowledge of spec would be preferred), and, to correct if the occasion arises

- Ability to recognise PCB components and interpret codes for values, correct orientation and

insertion

- Demonstrate skills to be able to recognise good assembly practices, i.e. component forming, soldering, etc. to IPC-A- 610 (knowledge of spec would be preferred)

- Organise work for most effective methods to enable on-time delivery, at cost and accuracy

- Computer literacy to enable reports, charts and some graphical instructions to be compiled

- Must be able to commute to the Coalville LE67 area

The Package:

- Excellent pay rate of up to GBP13.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Can pay more for the right candidate

- Day Shifts, Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30, Friday 07.30 to 11.00

- Free onsite parking
