To align with our strategic plan for growth, we have a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to be based from our Sheffield Business Park office.

About the role

As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist and support the Marketing & Communications Manager in the implementation of our marketing and communication plans, aligned to our business strategy. This is an exciting new position for a true brand champion and advocate as we set out our ambitious plans for growth across our specialist brands.

Main responsibilities include:

* With an understanding of multi-channel marketing and communications, assist in implementing integrated campaigns that maximise brand profile and drive reputation in our market sectors. You specifically focus on developing and supporting digital marketing across the Group business to raise profile and promote a professional and consistent brand reputation.
* Assisting the Marketing Manager to implement the Group Marketing Strategy and brand Marketing Plans, including internal communications and CSR, to improve and raise brand awareness and work towards the achievement of the Vision and Mission.
* Coordinating Group digital communication plans for each brand.
* Supporting the Marketing Manager in producing and sharing internal communications, for the new intranet, newsletters, webinars, email announcements and other communication materials.
* Updating, monitoring and reviewing all content on digital channels including using website CMS, social media platforms and eMarketing campaign software, working within Group Policies.
* Supporting the planning and execution of key events in the Group calendar, including the Annual Conference & Awards and charity partner events.

The successful candidate

In addition to this, you will have:

* A degree in marketing (desirable), with a sound understanding of marketing principles.
* 12 months experience working in a marketing role, with a passion for marketing communications.
* Effective project management skills, strong administration and organisational skills.
* Excellent written communication skills, presentable, articulate and have great interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms.
* Drive, self-motivation and the determination to succeed.
