Electronic Design Engineer
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 Basic Salary, 20 days holiday (plus banks) Standard Company Pension Scheme.
Based in Buckinghamshire and established for over 30 years our client specialise in the design and manufacture of Level Sensors and Switches.
Over the last year our client has invested heavily in marketing and are now identifying potential new products and markets. Due to this they are actively looking to recruit an Electronic Design Engineer to join their experienced Engineering team and take the lead on new product design and development.
Duties of the role will include
- You will be heavily involved in new product design as well as improving and upgrading existing products.
- Due to your technical knowledge you will also be on hand to offer technical support to the internal technical sales and manufacturing teams.
- Development of test equipment.
Skills & Experience Required
- You will have a strong background in Analog & Digital Circuit Design as well as embedded circuit design and software development.
- A minimum of 2 years experience of working in an Electronic Design position.
- Ideally you will be qualified to Degree/HNC/HND Level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Electro Mechanical/Instrumentation experience and a background in Sensors would be a major advantage.
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic.
