Are you a Solution-Sales focussed Account Manager who has demonstrable success in identifying New Business Opportunities, who is an expert relationship builder, with an appetite for working with a major UK Company?

Reed Professional Services (RPS) are a leading provider of project consultancy and technology services. We're looking for a talented individual with Account Management/Business Development experience to work on one of our key client accounts, a leader in their sector.

At (url removed) we develop partnerships with our clients to provide clear solutions, drawing on our expertise and knowledge to provide services that our partners rely on.

The successful candidate will be based in our Cannon Street office in London, with significant time spent at client sites which are also throughout London. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role of Account Manager is to oversee both New Business Sales & Delivery of contractually agreed operational services to our client(s).

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary + commission scheme.

What will you be doing?

* Acting as a stimulus within the client to inspire new ideas and thinking that will ultimately enable RPS to sell new combinations of services through demonstrating clear value propositions
* Acting as a solution lead to help identify, and establish alignment between the client needs and the core products and services offered by RPS covering the following;

* Flexi-resource packages
* IT/BPO Managed Services
* Fixed Priced work packages

* Creating and documenting valued added proposals for presentation to clients up to and including C-Level stakeholders
* Establishing a clear stakeholder identification plan as well as a managed network both within the client and also the wider industry as contacts move beyond the client base
* Ensuring contract performance and client satisfaction leads to reference-ability, retention, and extension of the associated commercial arrangements
* Ensuring that the RPS service portfolio continues to develop in line with client demands. Where necessary to develop, present and internally market new services that the client may require.
* Working with the client's line managers to provide support and guidance in compliance with agreed contractual processes

What are we looking for?

* A strong background in Solution-based Sales
* Exceptional networking and relationship building skills in order to develop and maintain strong relationships at both Functional and CxO Level
* A true problem solver, with the ability to overcome the barriers and obstacles typical of a large, matrix-based organisation
* Ideally a Technical, IT Solution background with the ability to draw upon existing knowledge and experience in order to shape bespoke offerings to the client if required
* Excellent client stakeholder management, including strong skills in pricing and contractual negotiations
* Organised and methodical approach enabling tracking and managing of information across multiple projects
* A clear and strong communicator, able to translate complex business needs into both short and long-term solutions
* Strong IT Skills (MS Office Suite)
