The main purpose of this Business Development Manager role will be to sell the company's product range of services into businesses such as insurance companies, car dealerships and body shops. This Business Development Manager role entails:

• 40% account management 60% new business
• Taking over a high performing territory with a well-established customer base
• Autonomous role managing your own time and diary
• Working from home
• Territory covers postcodes BS, BA, GL, NP
• Selling via face to face meetings
• Nurture existing accounts in order to maximise sales
• Working for an open and friendly manager
• Securing new business and increasing the existing client base
• No telesales so you can focus on selling and earning commission
• Excellent support and infrastructure to help you be successful

The Person - Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role must; have a proven track record within field sales, both account management and new business generation; experience selling either a solution based product or service. Candidates from all sales backgrounds will be considered, however you must have experience in working towards KPI's; be focused & driven; have the ability to influence at all levels; have excellent communication, questioning and listening skills; must understand the steps of the sales process, features & benefits of a product and good negotiating skills.
