My client is a global player in designing and manufacturing innovative bespoke products and they are looking for an Electronic Systems Engineer to join their specialist team.
The role involves the following:
* Analogue electronics design including small signal handling and processing for MCUs.
* Low speed digital electronics design
* Embedded software design for machine control and automation processes.
* Electrical motor control, including steppers, DC and brushless DC Servos. Experience of Electronic communication protocols
* PCB layout experience
* Development of equipment for the automated testing of PCBs and electronic sub-systems
* Experience of various communication protocols used over Ethernet.
* Experience of the design of electronic circuits and enclosures to meet EMC regulations
* Participation in integrated engineering teams, including the specification, procurement, build and commissioning of high value, automated equipment
* Experience in high technology and/or life science industry
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
* Problem solving
* Excellent oral and written skills
* Commercial awareness
* Customer focused
* Professional and Technical expertise
* Oral and Written communication skills
* Knowledge of digital and analogue electronics design
* Embedded C / C++
* Knowledge of STM32 ARM Cortex MCUs
