Working for a large Facilities Management and Maintenance Contractor.
Your new role
As a Multi Skilled Mechanically biased engineer you will be responsible for providing an effective planned and reactive mechanical and multi skilled maintenance/ repairs service to a portfolio of sites with in the Southampton region.
Key tasks include:
* Ensuring the effective and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M & E Plant and Equipment and Fabric Services
* Management of the CAFM System to ensure performance and monitor service delivery
* Assist in reactive repairs to the sites M & E systems
* Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with tasks schedules and industry best practices
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a similar role undertaking commercial maintenance is required. Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm systems, Generators, Mechanical and Electrical Services, HV & AC and Water Systems Treatment.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
What you'll get in return
Pay is between GBP30,000 - GBP33,000 per year depending on experience. This role will develop to a Lead Engineer role and therefore there is scope for fast career progression with in the next 12 - 18 months.
