Graduate / Junior Planning Officer
*Inner London Borough* *Long term contract* *GBP13 - 17 per hour*
Are you a town planning graduate looking for one of your first roles? Our client are a Local authority based in East London who are currently looking for Graduate / Junior planning officers to join their development management team. This is initially a 3-6month contract with the option of further extensions
You will carry a caseload of applications, appeals and enquiries as well as assisting the more senior planner on the more complex cases. In addition you will be:
Responding to initial client enquiries, undertaking planning research in order to better respond to those enquiries
Preparation of planning applications, notices and CIL form
Preparation of applications to discharge planning condition
Assisting with the preparation of planning statements to support a range of developments
A planning related degree is essential to be considered for this post. Some experience is preferred but is not essential.
