Our client is recruiting for a HR Advisor to join their team in December for 11 months with possible extension, to provide professional support to managers to develop and implement plans to execute organisation change effectively across the council.

This will include providing HR Change advice and guidance to allow change to be successfully delivered, advising managers of appropriate policies, procedures, and legislation. Also will involve gathering, analysing, and interpreting workforce data, reviewing options and recommendations to support the business with decision-making. Additionally, the HR Advisor role will support managers with individual and collective meetings and engagement activities as a result of change associated with TUPE and collective redundancy. The successful HR Advisor will represent HR at various change and project meetings.

The shortlisted candidate will have the ability to work in partnership with colleagues and stakeholders, have the ability to influence and persuade, and show evidence of successful delivery of organisational change projects.

Requirements:

* CIPD membership and qualification
* Minimum of 3 years experience of working in a HR Advisory capacity
* Detailed knowledge of Employment law
* Working knowledge of financial/budgetary systems.

The role is for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, at a rate of GBP15.94 per hour PAYE inside IR35.
