We are looking for a professional ; self-motivated Business Development Executive to be based from our offices in Warringtonl to develop new business opportunities from both new and existing higher education accounts in the Northern region .
We are SCC - Specialist Computer Centres - the UK's leading independently owned IT solutions company .
We provide cost effective , business critical IT solutions and services to many of the largest commercial and public sector organisations in the UK .
We have been established for over 40 years ; have a turnover of over GBP3 billion and employ in excess of 2,000 people in the UK .
The role will be to sell our innovative and cost reducing IT services and solutions to higher education establishments profiling the designated account base ; qualification of target accounts ; production and management of sales campaigns against targeted accounts ; development and expansion of our portfolio of products and services within both existing and new accounts ; qualifying and managing sales opportunities ; forecast and pipeline management to ensue achievement of target .
This will be achieved by a proactive new business sales strategy , full sales and marketing support from SCC and by developing effective relationships with our vendor partners .
We are looking for a motivated and committed IT Sales Professional with a successful sales track record gained selling IT services and solutions to universities - experience gained selling and managing complex service and infrastructure solutions , products and services is essential as is experience of negotiating at very senior level and of closing high value contracts .
We offer a highly competitive base salary , an achievable commission plan [ uncapped ] , fully expensed company car, or car allowance , together with other benefits associated with a large and successful organisation .
