As a Senior Software Developer at Worldpay you will develop the technologies that will change how millions of people make payments around the world. You will join one of our small cross-functional agile teams, targeting fast, feature development on our best-of-breed global payments platform.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Worldpay developers are extremely motivated and passionate individuals, eager to create elegant solutions to complex problems and push technology forward.
You'll develop components and applications working as part of a cross-functional team delivering high-quality features for Java based, multi-platform, multi-discipline environments utilising Agile toolsets across the development lifecycle. You'll take pride in writing high quality software, building, testing and maintaining robust systems and you'll enjoy working on the entire stack, front to back. We will want you to coach and mentor more junior engineers, act as Scrum Master for the team, and be an evangelist for best practice.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have a genuine passion for software development and will have extensive commercial experience writing clean code. You will have experience with web application security and agile ways of working, including Scrum, Kanban, TDD and continues delivery. Scrum experience is particularly important as you'll also act as Scrum Master in this role.
We'll want you to demonstrate strong Java programming skills and experience with Oracle, Linux, Source Control (git), IDEs and Jira.
