Teaching Assistant – Graduate Opportunity

A new post of Teaching Assistant is being established within our existing and experienced Learning Support Team. Your focus will be developing learners’ language skills (ESOL), reading, writing, spelling and Maths to support the successful completion of ESOL, functional skills and GCSE qualifications.

You must have a good understanding of the ESOL, English and Maths support needs of young people and adults within the education sector and a person centred approach.

Shortlisted applicants will go through the BKSB initial assessment for Maths and English, based on the Functional Skills syllabus. Only candidates who achieves Level 2 will progress to the interview stage.

The post will be based in Kingston College.

The post holder will be required to work 30 hours per week over 34 weeks.
