Are you a talented and ambitious Product Manager that has first hand experience of product development?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Working at the client`s head office in the South Liverpool area, you will have key responsibilities in working closely with factories and other departments to coordinate the whole development process that includes: negotiation, packaging and brand image. It is vital you have product development and overseen product development to be considered for this role.

Your day to day duties will include:

Purchasing and Negotiating -
Working daily with suppliers when establishing the best prices throughout their range

Overseeing the supply chain from every stage of their product development processes.

Seeking new sources of supply at factory visits and international trade shows.

Product development and each associated areas -
Co-ordinating all projects under the branding daily that include idea generation, bringing products to launch and range planning.

Designing brief development that will include research and then to ultimately lead into working with external and internal designers to create new products.
Occasional travel to trade shows and factories both across the UK and internationally.

Marketing -
Co-ordinating the production of catalogues and sales literature.

Co-ordinating product launches that tied within key selling periods.

Briefing the marketing team directly for the each season with regards to consumer media and all trade.

Organising and also attending meetings with Directors, Senior Managers on all new product ideas.

Sales and Stock Management -
Working with the sales team when presenting new products and in particular with key buyers.

Working on brief development for exclusive customer projects and managing total NPD processes.

Management of product sell through that would also include slow selling lines.

Stock promotion on regular and special purchase products.

To meet the client`s criteria for the role, you must have the following skills and experience:

Creativity and flair in design.

Organised at all times and have the ability to prioritise, especially on working on multiple products at any one time.

An ability to make things happens to strict dealines.

Decisiveness.

Attention to detail.
