Sales Advisor – Retentions & Renewals

Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire, North Bristol

£22,000 - £24,260 basic salary (Potential £31,000 including 30% performance related bonus based upon achievement of KPI’s)

The purpose of this role is to take calls from RAC members, with the aim of gaining or renewing their business by promoting product features and the great benefits of being an RAC member. Sometimes people may be expressing their wish to leave, so it’s down to you to quickly and effectively reaffirm all the reasons why they chose RAC to begin with and how they will benefit from remaining with us.

Your contact will guarantee a good outcome for both our members and the RAC.

Where the member still feels that they want to cancel, you will have the ability to discuss suitable alternative options available to you, to ensure we retain the member.

It takes a lot of rapport building and sometimes objection handling to ensure the right outcome for the customer and the business, so to be successful in this role you need to be:

• Empathetic and able to build rapport quickly

• Determined to continuously deliver and succeed

• Level headed with a mature mind set

• Enthusiastic, with energy and drive

Great candidates for this role will demonstrate the following:

• Experience in customer service / sales - either within or outside of the contact centre environment including retail

• A proven track record of achieving performance KPI’s

• Feeling comfortable with objection handling

• Outgoing, tenacious, positive and self-motivated

• Ability to understand constraints of selling within a regulated environment

• Excellent rapport building skills

• PC literate, with good numeracy and literacy skills
