Interaction Recruitment are thrilled to be on the lookout on behalf of our Romford based client who are currently seeking an Employment consultant to join the existing team in its fun and friendly working environment.
The main purpose of the role will be to help the long term unemployed back into work and support and guide them in areas which will enable them to do this. You will be working on a case-load with targets and aims in mind to aid them back into employment.
The ideal candidate will have worked previously as an employment consultant within the welfare to work industry, or as a recruitment consultant within commercial or professional market area. You will be a team player and be confident in your approach when speaking to potential employers to encourage, apprenticeships, work experience, training and job roles to offer to the long term unemployed. You will also have the technical know-how in searching the web and researching training programs and courses to help people get the relevant qualifications to get back into work.
Key skill requirements;
- Self motivator and driven to succeed
- Able to work to deadlines and targets whilst under pressure
- Strong relationship builder and able to communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Good use of Excel and Word
On offer is a competitive salary of between GBP22-25k dependant on experience + additional company benefits such as pension contributions, death in service scheme, chance to buy extra holiday days.
